Taste and how to drink it
- Taste: distinctly sour and slightly tart, not very sweet – a bit like blackcurrant with cranberry.
- Colour: deep, dark purple, like the skin of the fruit.
- How to drink: One shot is one serving – for work, training or travel. Shake before opening – it is natural for the juice to separate.

Is it the same as a blueberry? No. Haskap (Lonicera caerulea) is a separate species with elongated berries – noticeably more sour and more intense in flavour than blueberries.
