family farm
We have been growing haskap berries with passion for years. The plantation is the heart of our family farm in the Łęczna–Włodawa Lake District (Pojezierze Łęczyńsko-Włodawskie) in eastern Poland. We rely on natural growing methods, without chemical fertilisers or artificial additives, and all our products come straight from the farm. The juices are certified organic (PL-EKO-01).
The plantation covers 20 hectares and borders Polesie National Park — one of the most valuable natural areas in Poland. It is surrounded by marshes, peat bogs, karst lakes and vast forests full of wildlife — neighbours that suit farming in harmony with nature.
Haskap is the first fruit of the season to ripen; the harvest lasts 2–3 weeks around the turn of May and June. The juice is cold-pressed with nothing added — which is why it separates naturally; this is not a defect.
Wojtek and Zojka
The strength of our plantation is its variety. We grow Polish haskap varieties: the distinctly sour ‘Wojtek’ and the slightly sweeter ‘Zojka’.
Together they give a balanced sweet-and-sour juice that appeals even to demanding palates and works well every day — on its own, diluted with water, in a smoothie or in a dessert.
From bush to bottle
Bio-Sense is our family company. We turn the fruit from our farm into cold-pressed juice and freeze-dried powder and sell them directly — in our online shop and on Allegro. We also work with restaurants, gyms and shops.
